Hi there! Today I am sharing a project that I did for a client as a bridal/wedding shower gift. This was a fun project for me. There is just something about doing projects for happy occasions!

The bride’s wedding theme was vintage with ivory and antique lace. I love all things vintage even though I rarely design projects in that style. The inspiration photo that my client showed me had a simple book with a handwritten title and a three-hole punched binding tied with twine. In my design, I wanted to keep the book just as simple but I added sturdiness by hand crafting a chipboard bound album. I added a romantic ribbon detail to the spine and filled the book with pages for the wedding shower guests to record their words of advice for the happy couple. My client also wanted a card. She made the request to have the design similar to the Elegant Wedding Card design that I had made last summer. I was able to make a modified design using the bride’s colors (ivory and coral). I chose to create a 6 x6 inch square card this time to accommodate a larger brooch that I used for the centerpiece. I love how it all came out!
